the crossing
You can name a pattern by yourself. You can read about it, write about it, walk a path through it. For a season, that is enough.
Then you meet the part that will not move in private. The thing you have never said out loud in the exact words. The version of you that only appears when someone is watching.
That part does not come loose by understanding. It comes loose by being seen.
what it is
Twelve is not a marketing device. Past a certain size a room becomes an audience, and an audience is the thing you already know how to perform for.
You bring one bind. Everyone is crossing the same five movements at the same time, on their own ground.
why a room
Most people who come here are competent. That is the difficulty. Competence has solved almost everything else, so it feels like the right tool for this too.
But the bind is not an information problem. It hides from you specifically, because you are the one it has been protecting. Other people see it in about four minutes.
And no page can give you the part that matters most: being received while unimpressive, and saying the true sentence with someone in the room who does not leave.
“This is not what you do when the paths fail. It is what the paths are for.”
who it is for
what it asks
This is the first one. The price is lower because we are building it together, and what you find hard in it shapes the room for everyone after you.
$297 for founding members. The standing price from the second cohort is $497, and I am telling you now rather than after. Not a discount. What it costs to walk with a room still being made.
What it asks that is not money: a season of honest attention, and the willingness to be seen before you have it together.
The portal is at the foot of this page. Twelve seats, beginning Wednesday 7 October. When they are gone this page will say so plainly.
before you decide
If this is not your season, that is a real answer. The paths are open now and walk the same five movements alone.
You have carried this alone for a long time, and you have been good at it. That is not a small thing, and it is also the thing that has to end.
Six Wednesdays, a small room, and people who will not be impressed by you. That is the whole offer.
